Shipping, Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

This Shipping, Return, Refund & Warranty Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made through Parts District (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, you agree to the terms set forth below.
1. Shipping Policy
1.1 Shipping Address
Orders will be shipped to the address provided at checkout. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the shipping address.
Parts District is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.
1.2 Order Processing
Orders are processed Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays.
Our standard order processing time is approximately 2–3 business days (Mon-Sat), although most orders are prepared for shipment by the next business day.
Orders with cleared payment received before 2:00 PM EST (Monday–Saturday) are typically ready for shipment on the next business day.
Processing times may be extended during periods of high order volume, supplier delays, or holidays.
1.3 Shipping Timeframes
Shipping typically takes approximately 3–8 business days after shipment. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Transit times may vary due to:
- Carrier delays
- Weather conditions
- Peak shipping seasons
- Holidays
- Customs or regional delays
- Events beyond our reasonable control
If your order has not been received within ten (10) business days of shipment, please contact Parts District for investigation and assistance.
Orders containing multiple items may arrive in separate shipments depending on supplier inventory and fulfillment location.
2. Return & Refund Policy
2.1 Return Eligibility
We accept returns within fourteen (14) days from the date the product is received by the customer, as confirmed by carrier tracking information.
To qualify for a return:
- The product must be unused and uninstalled.
- The product must be in its original packaging.
- All original tags, hardware, manuals, and included components must be present.
Returns that fail to meet these conditions may be denied.
2.2 Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
All returns require prior authorization.
Customers must contact Parts District at support@partsdistrict.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning any item.
Returns sent without an authorized RMA may be refused and returned to sender at the customer’s expense.
The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the return package.
2.3 Restocking Fee
Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to twenty percent (20%) of the product purchase price, unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law.
The applicable restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
Restocking fees do not apply where the return is due to:
- Confirmed shipping error by Parts District
- Confirmed manufacturer defect
- Confirmed damage during transit
- Confirmed missing parts or components
2.4 Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges unless the return is due to:
- Confirmed shipping error by Parts District
- Confirmed manufacturer defect
- Confirmed damaged parts
- Confirmed missing parts or components
In such approved cases, Parts District will provide the customer with a prepaid return shipping label.
Shipping and handling charges from the original order are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.
2.5 Refund Processing
Refunds are issued only after the returned item has been received and inspected.
Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, however, most refunds are completed within 10 business days.
Shipping, handling, and restocking fees (if applicable) will be deducted from the refund amount unless otherwise required by law.
3. Defective or Damaged in Transit
3.1 Reporting Requirements
If a product arrives damaged, defective, or missing components, the customer must notify Parts District within two (2) calendar days of delivery.
Failure to report the issue within this timeframe may result in denial of the claim.
3.2 Required Documentation
To process a damage, defect, missing parts, or fitment-related claim, customers may be required to provide:
- Clear photographs of the item received
- Clear photographs of the shipping label and outer packaging
- Clear photographs showing the damage, defect, or issue
- Photographs showing fitment issues, where applicable
- Description of the issue
- Order number
Parts District reserves the right to request additional information as necessary.
3.3 Resolution
If a defect or transit damage is confirmed, Parts District may, at its sole discretion:

Replace the item (subject to availability), or

Issue a refund
For approved damaged-in-transit claims, Parts District may provide a prepaid return label where required.
4. Warranty Policy
4.1 Warranty Coverage
This warranty does not cover products that become defective due to:

Misuse or abuse

Negligence
-
Improper application, installation, or operation
-
Improper servicing
-
Use of unauthorized parts
-
Normal wear and tear
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval.
4.2 Replacement Terms
Warranty replacements are limited to one (1) replacement per product.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs related to warranty claims unless otherwise required by law.
4.3 Refund in Lieu of Replacement
If approved, a refund may be issued in place of replacement. Shipping and handling charges will be deducted from the refund amount unless otherwise required by law.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parts District shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use products purchased.
Total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.
6. Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed by applicable U.S. federal and state consumer protection laws. Certain rights may vary by state.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit rights provided under applicable law.
7. Vehicle Compatibility & Fitment Disclaimer
Parts District provides vehicle compatibility information, including Year, Make, and Model, for customer convenience. While we strive to ensure the accuracy of our fitment data, compatibility information is provided as a guide only and is not guaranteed.
Customers are solely responsible for verifying compatibility prior to purchase.
7.1 Customer Responsibility
Before purchasing any product, customers are responsible for verifying compatibility with their vehicle.
Customers should carefully review:
- The product title
- Product description
- Product specifications
- OEM or interchange part numbers, where applicable
- Vehicle fitment information provided on the product page
- Trim level, engine type, drivetrain, production date, and other applicable vehicle variations
Vehicle configurations may vary within the same model year. Differences in trim packages, engine options, production changes, and regional specifications may affect compatibility.
Parts District is not responsible for orders placed based on assumptions, incomplete vehicle information, or failure to verify compatibility prior to purchase.
7.2 Fitment Information Disclaimer
Fitment information displayed on product pages is provided as a general compatibility reference only.
While Parts District makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate fitment data, compatibility information may not always be complete, accurate, or up to date.
Customers should independently verify compatibility before purchasing or installing any product.
Fitment compatibility does not guarantee:
- Proper installation
- Exact appearance match
- Compatibility with aftermarket modifications
- Compatibility with special trims or production variations
Professional installation and verification are recommended where applicable.
7.3 Improper Fitment
Returns due to incorrect vehicle selection, failure to verify trim/engine specifications, or failure to confirm OEM compatibility are subject to:

7.4 Installation Disclaimer
Parts District is not responsible for:

Improper installation

Installation performed without professional assistance

Damage caused during installation

Labor costs associated with removal or reinstallation
We strongly recommend professional installation for all automotive parts unless the customer is qualified to perform such installation.
7.5 Limitation Regarding Third-Party Data
Compatibility data may originate from third-party suppliers or manufacturers. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, Parts District does not guarantee that all fitment data is error-free.
