Shipping, Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

This Shipping, Return, Refund & Warranty Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made through Parts District (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, you agree to the terms set forth below.
1. Shipping Policy
1.1 Shipping Address
Orders will be shipped to the address provided at checkout. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the shipping address.
Parts District is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.
1.2 Shipping Timeframes
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Transit times are determined by the shipping carrier and may vary due to:

Weather conditions
-
Peak seasons
-
Holidays

Events beyond our control
If your order has not been received within thirty (30) days of shipment, you must contact us for investigation and assistance.
1.3 Order Processing
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Orders with cleared payment received by Friday are generally shipped on the next business day (Monday or Tuesday). During high-volume periods, processing times may exceed 2–3 business days.
2. Return & Refund Policy
2.1 Return Eligibility
We accept returns within thirty (30) days from the original date of purchase.
To qualify for return:

The product must be unused.

The product must be in its original packaging.

All original tags, hardware, and included components must be present.
Returns that fail to meet these conditions may be denied.
2.2 Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
All returns require prior authorization.
Customers must contact Parts District to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning any item.
Returns sent without an authorized RMA may be refused and returned to sender at the customer’s expense.
The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the return package.
2.3 Restocking Fee
Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% of the product purchase price, unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law.
The restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
Restocking fees do not apply where the return is due to:

Confirmed shipping error by Parts District

Confirmed manufacturer defect
2.4 Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Shipping and handling charges from the original order are non-refundable.
2.5 Refund Processing
Refunds are issued only after the returned item has been received and inspected.
Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
Shipping, handling, and restocking fees (if applicable) will be deducted from the refund amount unless otherwise required by law.
3. Defective or Damaged in Transit
3.1 Reporting Requirements
If a product arrives damaged or defective, the customer must notify Parts District within five (5) calendar days of delivery.
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may result in denial of the claim.
3.2 Required Documentation
To process a damage or defect claim, customers may be required to provide:

Clear photographs of: and the damaged product clearly showing the damage sustained

Photographs of the packaging (including shipping label)

Description of the issue

Order number
We reserve the right to request additional information as necessary.
3.3 Resolution
If a defect or transit damage is confirmed, Parts District may, at its sole discretion:

Replace the item (subject to availability), or

Issue a refund
For approved damaged-in-transit claims, Parts District may provide a prepaid return label where required.
4. Warranty Policy
4.1 Warranty Coverage
This warranty does not cover products that become defective due to:

Misuse or abuse
-
Negligence
-
Improper application, installation, or operation
-
Improper servicing
-
Use of unauthorized parts
-
Normal wear and tear
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval.
4.2 Replacement Terms
Warranty replacements are limited to one (1) replacement per product.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs related to warranty claims unless otherwise required by law.
4.3 Refund in Lieu of Replacement
If approved, a refund may be issued in place of replacement. Shipping and handling charges will be deducted from the refund amount unless otherwise required by law.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parts District shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use products purchased.
Total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.
6. Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed by applicable U.S. federal and state consumer protection laws. Certain rights may vary by state.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit rights provided under applicable law.
7. Vehicle Compatibility & Fitment Disclaimer
Parts District provides vehicle compatibility information, including Year, Make, and Model filtering, for customer convenience. While we strive to ensure the accuracy of our fitment data, compatibility information is provided as a guide only and is not guaranteed.
Customers are solely responsible for verifying compatibility prior to purchase.
7.1 Customer Responsibility
Before purchasing any product, the customer must:

Confirm compatibility using their vehicle’s VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)

Verify OEM part numbers, where applicable

Review product specifications and placement details
-
Confirm trim level, engine type, production date, and other relevant variations
Vehicle configurations may vary within the same model year. Differences in trim packages, engine options, production changes, and regional specifications may affect compatibility.
Parts District is not responsible for orders placed based solely on assumptions or incomplete vehicle information.
7.2 Fitment Filtering Tool
Our “Select Your Vehicle” tool is designed to narrow product results based on available compatibility data. However:

The tool does not replace professional verification.

Compatibility matches do not guarantee proper installation.
-
Installation modifications may be required in certain cases.
Use of the filtering tool does not shift responsibility for verifying correct part selection.
7.3 Improper Fitment
Returns due to incorrect vehicle selection, failure to verify trim/engine specifications, or failure to confirm OEM compatibility are subject to:

Standard return policy conditions

Applicable restocking fees

Customer-paid return shipping
7.4 Installation Disclaimer
Parts District is not responsible for:

Improper installation
-
Installation performed without professional assistance
-
Damage caused during installation
-
Labor costs associated with removal or reinstallation
We strongly recommend professional installation for all automotive parts unless the customer is qualified to perform such installation.
7.5 Limitation Regarding Third-Party Data
Compatibility data may originate from third-party suppliers or manufacturers. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, Parts District does not guarantee that all fitment data is error-free.
